FIRST VERSION OF RES2 ROADMAP READY
RES2 Partners will now share the Roadmap with all stakeholders of the building sector. Aim is to have a definitive and completely “shared” document within beggining of 2025
After almost a year of discussion throughout Italy with key stakeholders in the building sector, and after a summer of intense work dedicated to processing the many inputs received during the workshops and through the project questionnaires, the first version of the RES2 ROADMAP is ready: the strategic document that identifies policies/procedures and operational choices to be made at all levels in Italy in order to achieve the energy efficiency targets in buildings defined by the EU.
THE ROADMAP CREATION PROCEDURE (1st version)
The great ADDED VALUE of the RES2 Roadmap lies more than anything else in its creation process: not a document written just through desk research or sectoral comparisons, but the collection of input gathered throughout Italy over nearly a year of work.
The views and suggestions of businesses, politicians, public bodies, sector authorities and a host of other stakeholders were gathered during a series of numerous workshops, hosted in different Italian regions (from the north to the south to the islands). Additional views and suggestions were gathered through one-to-one interviews and through project questionnaires.
The Roadmap synthesizes all these suggestions, as well as desk analyses and status quo reports conducted by RES2 partners.
NEXT STEPS TO GET TO THE FINAL ROADMAP
This first document will now be presented in detail and shared again with Italian stakeholders in the construction industry, finally leading to the production of a document that is truly, fully shared, and qunidi effective.
The sharing process starts TODAY. It will consist of:
PROMOTION OF ROADMAP CONTENT ONLINE
We start from today to gradually share the different contents of the Roadmap through the project’s online channels: from the website to social networks. We will publish from time to time certain sections of the Roadmap aimed at specific targets (e.g. municipalities, businesses, etc.). Sector stakeholders will thus be able to understand in detail the implementation proposals of our project and provide their feedback by writing an email to: res2@ibimi.it
NEW CYCLE OF IN-PERSON AND ONLINE WORKSHOPS
In October, a new cycle of Workshops starts throughout Italy: the purpose of the new cycle of workshops will be to present the Roadmap and to gather improvement suggestions from the stakeholders present.
